Right now, I am in the 'dream phase' of my intended road trip of initially the UK and EU and then if that goes well, on to pastures further afield.
As I am moving to Wales as soon as I manage to sell my house in Haverhill, Suffolk I will be starting my travels in Wales. It is my intention to spend at least a month in each country!
This should give me ample time to properly explore each country without feeling rushed and will allow me, if required to visit the same location at different times of the day to get that perfect picture!
Loads of travel blogs!
There are loads of travel blogs out there and I have no intention of competing with any of them! My hope is to create something truly unique which will not only be a resource to conventional holidaymakers visiting large cities but also to folks undertaking road trips of the UK and/or Europe
My dream of travelling isn't just about the photography aspect and seeing breathtaking vistas, picturesque villages and quaint corner shops but the PEOPLE.
I want to experience a country, it's traditions, it's odd celebrations and ceremonies, its quirky shops, and of course get truly unique images of the places I visit.
Mental Health and Homelessness
I have a very personal interest in helping mental health and homelessness charities so I will also be undertaking a few personal projects during my travels. If you work for a charity aligned with these issues, please do get in touch as I’d love to work with you on my projects!

For me to be able to make a success of this blog and my ambition to be able to assist charities and give back, I'm calling on the people of the countries I'm visiting to be my guides and hosts!
I need your local knowledge for recommendations of festivals, activities, cafes, tourist attractions, markets that I may not find in travel brochures.
For example, in Spain, there are several small festivals that take place in rural villages high in the mountains. I only became aware of these due to a friend living in one such village. These are the ideal types of events I’d love to attend and cover as they don’t tend to get much coverage!
The more quirky, obscure and off the beaten path, the better!

Do you manage a tourist attraction? Would you like your attraction to have a dedicated blog post on this blog? I will invite you to do an optional video interview with me to give a bit of history and insight into the attraction, and I will obviously take images whilst experiencing the attraction myself and provide my own experience and review of the experience. Whether your attraction is a world-famous one or a smaller, more quirky exhibit, I'd love to hear from you and see how we can work together! There would be no cost to you however I would require free entry to the attraction and a great bonus would be access to areas general public don’t usually get access to. To set this blog aside from other travel blogs, I have to provide unique content! If you would like to purchase any images for your own commercial and advertising use this is absolutely an option!
Do you offer city walks? For example historical walks, ghost walks etc?
Are you able to get access into areas that are usually off-limits to the general public? For example underground old cities (like those in Edinburgh, Scotland and Edinburgh, England)
Do you own or manage a pub/restaurant or cafe? What sets you aside from your local competition? Why should a visiting tourist come and visit you? What’s your most famous or popular item or dish?
Are you considered to have the ‘best burger in town’, or the ‘best milkshake in the city’ etc? Get in touch and let's discuss the opportunity of getting your venue listed and some exposure
Do you manage a hotel, B&B or hostel? Do you offer something unique that would make travellers and tourists opt to spend their money with you? Perhaps you’re a listed building with unique architectural features? Perhaps you offer 5 start luxury apartments? Perhaps you’re a hostel providing cheap and clean accommodation to backpackers?
Do you run a shared office location where you would welcome digital nomads? Somewhere where people like me, who are travelling can access the internet, and do some work? Perhaps simply spend some time with other like-minded people as being on the road on your own can get lonely!
Do you work in a tower block office which offers unique views of your city? Are you in a position to invite me along to come and take some snaps from your unique vantage point? Eg, top of the Shard in London etc.
Do you run a campsite/leisure park that caters for campervans and motorhomes?
Do you live in a city and able to provide me with an off-road parking space for my camper van so I can go explore your city and recharge the van? You will be compensated with a photoshoot and a few images of you/your family in exchange for your kindness and hospitality.
Do you own a farm or land where I could stop overnight?
Are you a local expert and know some hidden treasures in the local woods/forest areas? Perhaps you are a local photographer who knows great landscape views or the best places to capture some awesome wildlife images? Where there is a need to be discreet about the location, this will absolutely be withheld from being made public!
Are you an urbex type person and know of some abandoned buildings? I'd love to join you on an excursion! Again, location will not be made public only the images and experience of visiting it.
Essentially I am reaching out to anyone who offers a service to travellers. Whether those be the more traditional travellers wanting to visit the big tourist attractions, or those taking a road trip and looking for the more obscure things to see and do.
